Salvador Mallo, a film director in physical decline, reflects on the choices he’s made in life as the past and present come crashing down around him. In recovering his past, Salvador finds the urgent need to recount it and his own salvation. This semi-autobiographical film is the most recent masterpiece from Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar and stars Antonio Banderas in his first Oscar-nominated role.
