The goal of the Carroll Playwrights group is to foster local playwrights in their development of new work. The group meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month to exchange meaningful feedback on works that are being developed by members.

Carroll County Creates

This Facebook group is a virtual gathering place for anyone in Carroll County, Maryland to share their personal creative work in a welcoming and supportive community. We want to see what you are creating in any art form – drawing, painting, crafting, dancing, music, poetry – anything arts related as long as YOU created it. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Let’s come together and support each other through the creative journey.

Memory Lane Playback Troupe

Memory Lane, Carroll County’s brand new Playback Theatre Company, joins a tradition developed in 1975 when Jonathan Fox and Jo Salas founded the first
improvisational acting company in New York. Playback is spontaneous theatre making created by actor, audience, and most importantly, story. This group meets every other Tuesday and are always looking for actors who are over 21 years of age to join. In addition to performances, we can lead your club or office in team bonding exercises and activities.
