Scott McMicken and THE EVER-EXPANDING is the solo project of Dr. Dog frontman Scott McMicken. based now in Asheville, North Carolina the project is designed for maximum experimentation and collaboration. Since its beginning a few years ago, many musicians have participated and a wide variety of styles have emerged. The debut album “SHABANG” was released in March of 2023 on ANTI Records and featured a large cast of musicians primarily from upstate New York. The most recent album, “When It’s Happening,” was self released in March of 2024 and was made with a cast of new found collaborators in Asheville, NC. The project is designed to continue to change and explore in the pursuit of strong intuition and trust.
