Holiday Art Donations

This year is our 25th Annual Festival of Wreaths. Please read through this year’s guidelines thoroughly as some things have changed.

Handcrafted holiday & seasonal art, such as but not limited to wreaths, table runners, garland, pillows, quilts, placemats, paintings, and platter ware, may be donated by businesses, civic / social organizations, schools, offices, families, or individuals. There is no registration fee. Decorate your entry with a theme of your choice – creativity is encouraged! For businesses, incorporating your products or services into the theme in the form of merchandise or gift cards will maximize your exposure in the community as you support the CCAC. Your holiday artwork will be a donation to the Carroll County Arts Council, will be priced by CCAC staff, and auctioned off at the Festival of Wreaths. All proceeds will benefit the CCAC.

Guidelines

Donations of ORIGINAL holiday art, winter-themed artwork, and other HANDMADE fine crafts are welcomed. Items do not need to be Christmas-themed, wreaths don’t have to be round– think outside the circle! Be creative and have fun.

  • No live wreaths.
  • Attach a sturdy hanging device to wall hanging submissions.
  • Plug-in lights or battery lights can be used, but battery lights will not be replaced.
  • All entries must be no larger than 36 inches in any dimension.
  • Securely attach all gift cards, decorations, and ornaments to your entry.
  • Adding extra gifts to your entry such as gift cards, merchandise, etc. is encouraged.
  • Entries cannot require daily maintenance.
  • After you register, you will be asked to submit an optional 250-words to accompany your entry. You could describe your piece, your creative process, what you hope folks take away from your entry, your own story, or your organization’s story. The Arts Council reserves the right to edit your description in order to make it the appropriate length and to eliminate grammatical errors.

Important Dates

Registration is now CLOSED!

Registration can only be done online.
There’s a limit of one entry per person or organization/group.

Drop Off Dates: Tuesday, November 15 – Thursday, November 17 from 10:00am-6:00pm each day

Event Dates: Friday, November 25 – Sunday, December 4

There will be a preview party for decorators prior to the festival’s official start time on November 25. 

More Information

  • In appreciation of your donation, at drop-off you will receive a coupon for 10% off at Gallery of Gifts (November 18 – December 21, 2022).
  • Audience Favorite Awards – The public will vote for their favorites and the CCAC will present awards to the Top 10 winners.
  • As this is an Arts Council fundraiser and a family event, we reserve the right not to display a donation that is deemed inappropriate, offensive, unsafe, too large, of unacceptable quality, or is not pre-registered.

By entering this event I agree to the terms stated in the Registration Guidelines and agree that all submitted items become the property of the Carroll County Arts Council (CCAC) and will be sold to benefit the organization. Any unsold items will be disposed of at the sole discretion of the CCAC. By entering the Festival, I also agree to allow my name and images of my submission to be retained indefinitely and used by the CCAC in any future print or electronic promotion, publicity materials, or retail products.
