Fine Tuned Presents: Daphne Eckman and Blake Rouse
Tuesday, April 9 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
| $10 – $20Join Fine Tuned for an evening of intimate musical performances by Colorado-based Blake Rouse and Annapolis-based Daphne Eckman in the stunning (Little) Baker Chapel space at McDaniel College. Blake Rouse and Daphne Eckman are two fast-rising singer-songwriters expanding the future of indie folk.
Eckman is a lightning rod of emotion. She creates catharsis through meticulously-crafted songs spun from influences including Radiohead, Big Thief, Phoebe Bridgers, and Madison Cunningham. Rouse’s sensitive, DIY, punk-ethos performance draws from influences including Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, and Joni Mitchell met with Rouse’s own 21st-century existential-crisis-driven twist.
Opening the evening is Westminster-based Rebekah Faith, independent singer/songwriter from Pasadena, Maryland who writes music that allows the listener to feel seen and connect with their heart.
