“What in the Hell Happened to Blood, Sweat & Tears?”

2024 | 1 h 52 min | Rated R

Show times: 1:00pm (captioned) & 7:30pm

This documentary offers a unique glance at the rise and fall of Blood, Sweat and Tears. The band first made its mark in the late ’60s and soon earned multiple Grammy Awards. As they entered mainstream music, they became beloved icons with countless rock hits. Yet the band’s rising star crashed suddenly in 1972, owing in part to their willingness to serve as cold war musical ambassadors, taking American Rock and Roll behind the Iron Curtain.

Joining us for a brief overview, discussion and Q&A on the films historical context will be Dr. Corey Campion an historian of US-European relations during the Cold War.

Tickets: $8-10 (include Dr. Campion’s talk)
