Local Business Competition

It’s like American Idol meets Shark Tank, only it’s LOCAL! The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 12th annual Carroll Biz Challenge. For the last decade, The Biz Challenge has showcased local entrepreneurs and given them the exciting opportunity to pitch their new business ideas, to make great connections, get loads of publicity, and compete for a $10,000 cash prize. Plus, we’ll be handing out additional prizes like the $2,023 People’s Choice Award and the $5,000 United Way of Central Maryland Changemaker Challenge Award.

Dozens of entrepreneurs entered and five finalists have been chosen to pitch their ideas before a panel of judges and a live audience. Only one will walk away with the grand prize.
