We are the Carroll County Cloggers.
The Carroll County Cloggers are a program of the Carroll County Recreation and Parks Department, Westminster Area Recreation Council. The club was established in October 1979, making us the longest continuously active clogging group in the state of Maryland. Our mission is to keep Appalachian Clogging alive by educating the public and sharing our passion for this true American Art Form.
We are a non-competitive contemporary group. Our dances are done to assorted music genres with diverse choreography consisting of line dances, requiring no partner as well as group figure work with partners. We offer 3 types of memberships; General, Performance Team and Friendship making it easy to find the right fit for your interests.

Tom & Dorothy Scanlan have been playing Irish music for over 15 years. They are multi-instrumentalists and singers who are passionate about continuing the Celtic tradition. Their band name comes from a mountain in County Sligo, at the top of which is the reputed burial cairn of Queen Medb, one of the most colorful individuals in Irish myth and the equal of any man! They have performed at festivals, special events, wineries, and the Maryland Renaissance Festival. You can hear them at local jam sessions as well.
