With the cancellation of most of our spring and summer programs due to COVID-19, the Carroll County Arts Council (CCAC) is looking even more to the community for support. While our galleries, gift shop, and theatre have reopened, the pandemic has still left a significant impact on most of our major revenue streams. In addition to the cancellations of our theatre programs, our annual budget was profoundly affected by the cancellation of our largest fundraiser – the PEEPshow. Your support has never been more needed or more valued than in this year of financial strain.

We know that this is a financially tough time for many, but, if you are able, we hope you will consider supporting the CCAC with a gift.
The Arts Council has been serving Carroll County for over 50 years and we need your help to sustain this unique community resource so it is here for the next 50 years! It only takes 5 minutes to give a gift that will inspire creativity for years to come. No matter the amount, your tax-deductible* donation will help us sustain our organization through this unprecedented crisis.

Here’s how you can make a HUGE difference today:

  • Make a donation below.
  • Spread the word! Share on social media using the hashtag #GiveCarrollArts.
  • Celebrate our theatre reopening by attending a show. Click here for upcoming events.

Thank you for your generous support and commitment to CCAC!
We couldn’t do what we do without you.

How will your gift make an impact?

The Carroll County Arts Council is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in the magnificently renovated Carroll Arts Center (formerly the Carroll Theatre) in downtown Westminster. The art deco building now houses a 263-seat theatre, the Tevis Gallery, Community Gallery, Director’s Hall Gallery, Gift Shop, two art classrooms, and offices. The Carroll County Arts Council’s mission is to enrich our community, both culturally and economically, by presenting, promoting and supporting a wide variety of arts opportunities for our residents, visitors, and artists.
The Carroll County Arts Council was formed in 1969 by a group of volunteers who wanted to make the arts part of the everyday fabric of Carroll County life. We are so proud to have been inspiring creativity in our community for the past 50 years through arts education, free gallery exhibits, and many other mission-related activities.

*The tax-deductible amount depends on the amount donated minus the value of the gift received. If the gift is declined, the full amount of the donation is tax-deductible.
