Historical Society of Carroll County
Description:
HSCC is dedicated to the research of piedmont Maryland’s cultural heritage and the preservation and interpretation of objects significant to Carroll County history. Also host ìBox Lunch Talksî ñ lectures on a variety of county historical topics, at the American Legion in Westminster on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Housed in the 1807 Sherman-Fisher-Shellman House, which has been restored to reflect the daily activities of a family of Pennsylvanian Germans, a significant community in Carroll County in the early nineteenth century.
