Taneytown Dance Company presents, “The Nutcracker Experience”

Designed especially for children, this special dance event offers young audiences the perfect opportunity to get up close with the classical holiday tale of The Nutcracker.

“The Nutcracker Experience” begins with a short, 20-minute performance of highlights from the second act of The Nutcracker, featuring dances by the beloved characters: Hot Chocolate, Tea, Candy Canes, the Waltz of the Flowers, and the Sugar Plum Fairy from the “Land of Sweets”.

Immediately following the performance, young attendees have the opportunity to personally connect with the magic of ballet by:

• Joining the cast on stage
• Learning a portion of a dance
• Taking photos with their favorite character dancers (with parents of course!)
• Receiving a parting gift of a Nutcracker-themed goodie bag with treats to take home
