Banned Together follows three young women during their senior year of high school as they fight community members and school board officials to reinstate banned books. Witness their evolution from local to national activities as they advocate at school meetings, sit down with national politicians, famous authors and constitution scholars. Ultimately, they were able to speak on stage at the Right to Read rally during the American Library Associations annual conference in Chicago.
