Community Arts Development Grants
Through Maryland State Arts Council resources, the Carroll County Arts Council is making funds available to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations for the purpose of bolstering and expanding arts programing opportunities in the community.
CAD Grants application categories: General Operating Budget funding for Arts Organizations, or Project Support funding for Non-Arts Organizations.
CAD Grants are designed to strengthen established Arts Organizations by providing holistic financial support to their general operating budget as well as assist Non-Arts Organizations with targeted, financial support aimed at a specific arts-related programming. The primary goal is to foster excellence, diversity, and vitality in arts offerings in Carroll County and ensure growth, sustainability, and awareness of local non-profit organizations.

Arts Opportunity Mini-Grants
These grants are designed to provide financial support to non-profit organizations or individual artists seeking creative, professional development or presenting specific, arts related events, activities, or projects. Professional development opportunities should assist in embracing growth, learning, and discovery for artistic and economic sustainability. Project funds are intended to provide opportunities to serve the growing need for relevant arts projects and collaborations for individuals and within the community. The primary goal is to foster excellence, diversity, and vitality among the artists and arts offerings in Carroll County.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Arts in Education (AiE) Grants
The CCAC provides up to $250 per school for AiE Grants.
The purpose of these grants is to support bringing Maryland artists and performers into the public schools for residencies, workshops, assembly performances, Master Classes, etc. Applications are accepted on an on-going basis. There is no deadline. These funds are provided by the Maryland State Arts Council.
