About Our Galleries
Our gallery exhibitions:
- Offer a wide variety of mediums and styles, both within particular exhibition as well as over the course of the calendar year.
- Include works that display professional principles of good design.
- Feature works that are unique to the area that are not generally displayed elsewhere in Carroll County.
- Do not include solo artist shows.
As our main gallery space, the Tevis gallery houses group exhibits curated by our Visual Arts Coordinator that feature works by professional artists. Exhibits are built upon a central theme or medium and are typically curated a year in advance and run for six weeks.
Works sold from these exhibits are subject to a 27% commission collected by CCAC.
We are grateful to the Tevis Family for their generous donation that made this beautiful gallery space possible for our community to enjoy – thank you.
In the Community Gallery we proudly display group exhibits by local clubs, schools and art guilds.
These group exhibits showcase local clubs, guilds or other organizations that are working together to “co-curate” their exhibits with our Visual Arts Coordinator. Works sold from these exhibits are subject to a 27% commission collected by CCAC. Groups should contact the Visual Arts Coordinator at least 6 months in advance to be considered for this space. Please be prepared to describe the show’s theme, exhibitor’s names and provide 3-5 high resolution images of representative work.
