Classes & Workshops
From the visual arts classes and craft workshops, to drama, we pride ourselves in having talented and enthusiastic teachers who set a creative and age appropriate atmosphere. Some classes are sponsored by the Arts Council, others are offered by independent teachers and organizations. All promise to stretch your imagination and inspire creativity.

Teen Open Studio
$150 to register for all seven weekly sessions or $25 per session drop-in fee (pay upon arrival)
Open Studio classes give us the opportunity to render things in their true character, unlimited by mediums and the public gaze, all in the atmosphere and presence of other creatives. Make new friends and some great art!
An artist will oversee the class to assist students as needed. Our supplies are available for free to all participants or you are welcome to bring your own or a project you are working on.

Pro for a Day Concert is a unique youth arts experience that connects students with working professional artists through live performance, hands-on training, mentorship, and a public showcase. Designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and a sense of belonging, this immersive program offers students behind-the-scenes access to the music industry while schools are closed.
- Auditions will take place on Tuesday, February 17th 5:00-6:30.
- Please prepare a 30 second song for this audition.
- If you cannot attend auditions we will provide an alternate audition method.
- The cast list will be sent in an e-mail to all addresses listed on the registration forms by Monday, February 23rd at 5pm.
- New Theatre Director will be announced prior to auditions.

Beginners Modular Origami Workshop, Part II
Instructor: Ace Phelps
After learning how to fold and assemble your Modular Origami 3-D Sculptures in Part 1, Instructor Ace Phelps will help to foster creativity and help students move towards creating their own designs moving beyond beginner folds and creases to create more complex projects of their own choosing.
Modular origami is not only a creative art form but also a mathematical exploration, as many models are based on geometric principles. It can be used to create decorative objects, educational tools, and even complex sculptures that demonstrate mathematical concepts.

Class Registration
Classes fill quickly, so avoid disappointment by registering early. Classes must be cancelled if minimum enrollment is not met two weeks prior to class start. Payment in full is required to reserve your space. You will receive confirmation via email one week prior to the beginning of class. You may register and pay online, by phone, or in person at the Carroll Arts Center.
Cancellations & Refunds
If CCAC cancels a class due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be given. For cancellations made by the student, a refund may be granted minus a processing fee. Cancellations must be requested at least 14 days prior to the start of class. If a cancellation is requested after that, a refund may be granted at the discretion of CCAC staff. No refunds are given for missed classes or early withdrawal. If a class is cancelled due to weather, parents will be contacted by email and/or phone and a make-up class will be scheduled by the instructor.
The CCAC has full discretion over registration.
