Starting December 23, through January, 2025, outside of scheduled programming, the Carroll Arts Center will be closed to the public. The building will be open on Fridays, January 10, 17, 24, and 31 starting at 12pm for the annual Documentary Film Series where single tickets and subscriptions can be purchased in person. Patrons are welcome to purchase tickets at the box office and shop in our gift shop during this time.

Discounts & Ticketing

Discounts

These discounts are available only for events presented by the Carroll County Arts Council, not for rental events.

People aged 60 and over and aged 25 and under are eligible for reduced price tickets for most concerts, performances, and films presented by CCAC. Age-based discounts are not offered on Classes, Camps, Bus Trips, and other program registrations.

Age-based discounts are available for tickets purchased in person, by phone or online. When purchasing online, please select the appropriate ticket option to receive the appropriate discount.

All attendees, regardless of age, require a ticket

Current CCAC members receive an additional 10% discount on most tickets and registrations for events, programs, classes, and camps offered by CCAC. These discounts are available for tickets purchased in person, by phone or online. When purchasing online, you must login to your CCAC account to receive your member discount. You will be prompted to login at the ‘Billing Information’ stage of checkout. The 10% discount will automatically be applied after this.  Cannot be combined with any other discount.  For more information about becoming a member visit our membership page.

The Carroll County Arts Council is proud to offer a 15% discount for active military and veterans, active and retired first responders, and their families.
Applies to CCAC sponsored events only.  Cannot be combined with any other discount.  Please call or visit the Box Office to redeem.

A 20% discount is extended to groups purchasing 20 or more tickets. Discounted group tickets must be arranged in advance at the Box Office or by phone and cannot be purchased online.  Cannot be combined with any other discount.

All current McDaniel College students, faculty, and staff with a McDaniel ID can receive $5 tickets to most Arts Center events in the 24/25 season and get a free small popcorn (one per event).

This discount is only redeemable through in-person ticket sales at the Box Office with a McDaniel ID. Some exclusions apply, as noted for specific events. Not available for rental events.

Excluded 23/24 Season Arts Center Events:

Motown and More: A Holiday Celebration – 12/15/24
Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas – Saturday 12/7/24 (performance on 12/8/24 is eligible)
Teelin Irish Dance – 03/08/25 at 3pm (performance at 7pm is eligible)

Ticketing

Refund and Exchange Policies

We’ve updated our ticketing policies to better fit our needs as a nonprofit organization. You will see that the updates are that which reflect industry-standard policies.

All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be given.

If you cannot attend your event, you may exchange your tickets into a future Arts Center event OR convert your purchase into a tax-deductible donation to the Carroll County Arts Council. Ticket holders will not receive partial refunds for exchanging tickets into an event of lesser value than their original event, but ticket holders will be responsible for paying the difference in cost if exchanging tickets into an event of more value. Call the Box Office at 410-848-7272 for more information.

Tickets to CCAC events typically go on sale 2 – 3 months prior to the event. Tickets will remain on sale until the start of the event unless they sell out. Pre-payment is required for all tickets; unpaid reservations are not accepted.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online with a credit card, or during business hours by calling 410-848-7272. A receipt will be emailed to you along with print-at-home tickets. Tickets can be printed at home or presented on a smart phone. If you prefer CCAC can print and hold your tickets at the Box Office for a $1 per order will-call fee.

All CCAC event ticket orders are processed through Leap Merchant Services. Buyers using the CCAC online ticket sales system agree to the Leap Merchant Services Terms of Service.

Unless noted, free events are on a first-come-first-serve basis, do not require advanced tickets, and reservations are not accepted.

Seating

Unless noted, all seating is general admission and tickets do not guarantee specific or contiguous seats.

The house generally opens 25 minutes before curtain time. Patrons arriving prior to the opening of the house are welcome to wait in the lobby. Patrons arriving after the start of an event may be asked to wait until an appropriate break in the program before being seated.

Patrons requiring special needs seating or other accommodations should contact the Arts Center in advance. Please refer to Accessibility section above for more information.

By attending an event at the Arts Center, all patrons agree that photos or videos taken of them while in attendance may be retained and used in electronic and print advertising.

Online Account

The CCAC offers an online account where you can receive membership discounts and view your ticket order history. You can also use your online account to renew a membership, change your contact and billing information, and reprint tickets.

Your username is your email address that we have on file.

Forgot or can’t find your password? Don’t worry, you can either reset it online by clicking “reset password” or call the Box Office at 410-848-7272 and we can reset it for you.

Member Discount

You must be logged into your account in order to receive your 10% member discount which will be automatically applied at checkout. The discount will only be applied if your membership dues are current. After renewing a lapsed membership there will be a short delay while we process your payment before your discount will begin working again.

Patron Pass

To use your Patron level membership benefits to get a free movie ticket you must call the Box Office at 410-848-7272.

When making an online purchase for any CCAC event or membership you will be given the option to request a CCAC online account. Our staff will process your account request and you will be sent a confirmation email that contains your username and a temporary password. Follow the instructions in this welcome email to sign in for the first time and to setup your own password. New account requests may take several days to process and member discount will not be available immediately. Please call the Box Office to make a member discount purchase if your account has not yet been activated.

Please note that your account will be closed after two years of inactivity. If you wish to reactivate an account, please call the Box Office at 410-848-7272.

Parking is available on-street and has a 2-hour time limit, in the Babylon lot directly across Main Street, or in the Colonel Rosser lot 1/2 block east on Main Street. Street and lot parking is metered at times and costs vary. Covered parking is available in the parking garage on the corner of Green St. and Liberty Street. Parking in the alleys directly next to and behind the Arts Center is private and should not be used by our patrons.

The parking rate is the same for both Quarters and ParkMobile. *There is a small convenience fee that ParkMobile charges for using their service.

Perhaps you lost track of time shopping or were having a great time with friends at lunch and were unfortunate to come out to a parking ticket while parked at a meter, relax… your first ticket for parking at an expired meter every calendar year is a just warning! However, the next one is not, as the 2nd offense is a $15 ticket; the 3rd is a $25 ticket and the 4th and beyond goes up to $50 each.”

CCAC has 2 spacious galleries and the Director’s Hall gallery, a Gift Shop, the annual Art in the Park Festival, and the Gallery of Gifts during the holidays.

Members receive our newsletters and brochures by mail. Anyone can sign up here to receive weekly emails about upcoming CCAC events.

No, gallery exhibits are free and open to the public.

Concessions are for sale before events and through intermission (when there is one). We sell water, soda, coffee, chips, candy, and popcorn. Also wine and beer depending on the type of event. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

There is no dress code for events at CCAC unless specifically noted. Attire can range from business casual to jeans, t-shirts and sneakers.
Yes and no. Photographs are allowed in our galleries, but most performers do not allow flash photography.

Yes. Priority is given to arts events that are open to the public (i.e. dance, drama, music, literary & visual arts.) Requests for use of the facility for any other non-arts purposes, public or private, including business seminars, parties, fundraisers, conferences, political or religious events, will require advance approval by the Arts Council’s Board of Directors.

The Arts Center box office occasionally sells tickets for events that are held at other venues in the community. Only cash or checks are accepted for these purchases.

We have a theatre program that is only for children.

For adults, there are several local theatre groups that have opportunities for both adults and children.

Film Lovers in Carroll County (flicc) is the club that meets monthly to choose the movies for the Carroll Arts Center. All members of the CCAC may be members of flicc. Suggestions are always welcome.

No, we only offer group classes and workshops for children and adults.
