Historical Society of Carroll County
HSCC is dedicated to the research of piedmont Maryland's cultural heritage and the preservation and interpretation of objects significant to Carroll County history. Also host ìBox Lunch Talksî ñ lectures on a variety of county historical topics, at the American Legion in Westminster on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Housed in the 1807 Sherman-Fisher-Shellman House, which has been restored to reflect the daily activities of a family of Pennsylvanian Germans, a significant community in Carroll County in the early nineteenth century.
