Barrier-Free is a non-profit, disability service organization that provides inclusive art, self-advocacy, and social programming to the community for adults with disabilities across Carroll County.
Barrier-Free offers two inclusive theater companies where neurodiverse adults ages 18+ come together to create original full-production musicals. Additional offerings include expressive arts classes covering a variety of themes including improvisational acting, dance, and more!
At Barrier-Free’s Life Skills & Social Studio in Downtown Sykesville, programs support the development of life skills and social skills for neurodiverse adults through an integrated-arts model with a focus on interpersonal interaction, authentic practice, and group collaboration.
Carroll County Cloggers
A nonprofit club that promotes the dance form of clogging through education and participatory activities. Available for performances throughout the year. Classes for beginners are offered annually starting in October.
Carroll County Jazz Ensemble
Carroll County Jazz Ensemble performs in the style of Big Band primarily for fund raising activities of non profit organizations, including the annual “Big Band Merry Christmas.î
Carroll Singers is an adult choral group dedicated to building interest in and support for the performance of choral music in CC. Perform two annual concerts (winter and spring) and is open to anyone who is interested in performing choral music.

Demonstrations by the club are available for community activities and also entertainment for nursing homes or local functions.
JoeyDCares Rock Orchestra
Part of the Freedom Area Recreation Council, the group provides a venue for student musicians in grades 6 – 12 to develop their talents while supporting non-profit organizations through charity benefit concerts.

The Chorale is a non-profit organization designed to provide singers and audiences with varied choral experiences. All people interested in singing are encouraged to join.
Old Line Statesmen Barbershop Chorus
A men’s acappella chorus singing four-part harmony since 1982. Devoted to community singing and entertainment in and around Carroll County.
The Eric Byrd Trio
The Eric Byrd Trio is a traditional Jazz Piano/Vocal Trio, performing arrangements of Jazz Standards and original compositions. They are national/international touring artists that continue to bring their unique and energetic sound to enthusiastic crowds.

Considered to be a virtuoso of tremendous influence in the revival of the hammered dulcimer, Waltís wide repertoire ranges from old-time Southern Appalachian, to Celtic, to breath-taking original compositions.
Westminster Municipal Band
A senior marching and concert band that provides entertainment to the surrounding communities.
The Westminster Ringers are an auditioned community handbell ensemble.
Westminster Symphony Orchestra
Provides a performance and educational opportunity in classical music for the Carroll County area. Concerts at both McDaniel and Carroll Community College.
