Artisans with handmade wares related to pop culture are encouraged to apply for this special Artist Alley display in our Community Gallery at our upcoming Arigato Film Festival weekend!

This weekend celebration of anime featuring two movies, an Artist Alley, and a Pokémon tournament is presented in conjunction with our January 2024 gallery show, Arigato, a stunning collection of artworks inspired by Japanese anime and manga. More info about these events is coming soon!

Artist Alley Registration Details:

Registration Deadline: December 1, 2023

Vendor Drop-off/Setup Dates:
Thursday, January 25 | 10am – 7pm
Friday, January 26 | 10am – 7pm

Vendor Pickup/Take Down Date:
Sunday, January 28 | 5pm

Who can apply:
Artists who create handmade items including, but not limited to: jewelry, fiber, ceramics, glass, small prints and paintings, upcycled works, books, woodwork, toys, soaps and candles, etc. No buy & resell items permitted. Items should reasonably fit the themes of the festival weekend (i.e. anime, comics, video games, general pop culture).

Application Fee: $20 (non-refundable)

What’s included in your entry fee?
• A pre-assigned space.
• Full marketing support of the CCAC.
• Publicity materials will be sent electronically for you to share with friends and family.

Exhibitor’s Responsibility?
• Provide a re-sale tax number. If you do not have one go to www.marylandtaxes.com.
• Play an active role in publicizing the event.
• Staff your space throughout the event.

Acceptance notification:
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance in November 2023. Those who are not accepted into the Artist Alley will also be notified. Accepted applicants will receive a packet containing a contract, FAQ sheet, special requests form, and drop-off/pick-up information.

Customizing your space:
Each artist accepted is given a 6ft display area. CCAC supplies tables, cloths, and basic signage if needed. Artists are encouraged to bring any display racks, fabric and signage that will make their displays attractive and unique.
