Registration Instructions for Festival of Wreaths

Please follow the instructions on this page carefully.

Registration has two parts this year:

  1. You must register as a BIDDER on Handbid
  2. You then must DONATE your item on Handbid

To start the process, go to the Festival of Wreaths auction on Handbid at the link below.

Register on Handbid

Once there, follow these instructions:

I. Register as a Bidder

  1. Click on the REGISTER tab (found under the event dates).
  2. Enter your name, phone number, full address, and follow the on-screen instructions to create a Passphrase.
  3. Check the box to agree to Handbid’s user terms and conditions. Once you have completed all the fields correctly, the REGISTER button will turn green.
  4. Click on the REGISTER button.

Note: If you use a cell phone number, you will get a text message from Handbid with a link to download the app so you can bid from your phone. You don’t need to set this up yet.  Continue on with the instructions below to register your entry for the event.

II. Donate your Wreath/Artwork

  1. Click on the OVERVIEW tab.
  2. Scroll down until you see the Donate An Item box.
  3. Click on the Donate Item button and fill out as much for each section as you can.

Reminder: Entries MUST be dropped off or mailed to the Arts Center. Do NOT select pickup as your delivery method.

  • Who is the Donor? You or someone else? Choose the appropriate response from the drop-down menu.
  • Your First and Last Name
  • Your Email Address
  • Your Phone Number (where we can reach you if we have questions)
  • Your Full Street Address
  • Name of the item (required)
  • Description of the Item (Please be as detailed as possible. Does it include any gift certificates, gift cards, or other merchandise?)
  • Terms and Restrictions (e.g. expiration dates, limitations, special requirements)
  • Item’s Value (required)
  • Minimum Selling Price – leave this box blank
  • Photos – No need to add photos. We will be taking photos of all the entries as they are delivered to the Arts Center.

Choose the appropriate category from the drop-down menu: Physical Item, Certificate, or Both (Physical Item and Certificate).

Under “Options for receiving the item,” please choose either:

  • I will ship/mail this item to you
  • I can deliver this item to you

Unfortunately, we can’t eliminate the pick-up option on Handbid’s form. We do not have staff available to pick up your donations, so please select only one of the above two. We apologize for any confusion.

You are welcome to ship or mail your donation to 91 West Main Street, Westminster, MD, c/o Festival of Wreaths.

Important Dates

Drop Off Dates: Saturday, November 7, 10 am – 4 pm; Monday, November 9, 10 am – 4 pm; and Tuesday, November 10, 10 am – 6:30 pm.

Event Display: November 27 – December 6
