DESCRIPTION:2027 Gift Shop – Call for Artists ApplicationApply for one of Carroll County’s Best Fine Art and Gift Boutiques!\nFeaturing the handcrafted\, one-of-a-kind\, quality wares of dozens of local and regional artisans year-round within the Carroll Arts Center lobby. \nARTIST REGISTRATION INFORMATION\nDescription: The Arts Council Gift Shop has something special for everyone! This beautiful display is filled with handcrafted wares by local artists and makers\, including jewelry\, apparel\, home décor\, kitchenware\, cards\, prints\, books\, and so much more. Whether you’re looking for a thoughtful gift or a little something for yourself\, there’s always something to catch your eye. \nWho Can Apply? Artists and makers who create original\, handcrafted items\, including jewelry\, apparel\, fiber arts\, ceramics\, glass\, home décor\, kitchenware\, cards\, prints\, small paintings\, books\, woodwork\, toys\, soaps\, candles\, and more. No buy-and-resell items permitted. Applications are juried by a committee of staff\, board members\, and community artists based on originality\, craftsmanship\, a cohesive body of work\, and presentation/packaging\, with consideration for suitability for the Gift Shop. \nApplication Deadline: November 29\, 2026. \nApplication Fee: $10 \nVendor Drop-Off/Set-Up Dates: January 13 & 14\, 2027 By Appointment \nEvent Dates: January 2027 through October 2027 \nVendor Pick-Up/Take-Down Dates: November 4 & 5\, 2027 \nConsignment Information:  \n\nThe Exhibitor is expected to deliver their work during scheduled Drop-Off and Swap days. Shipping and transportation costs are the Exhibitor’s responsibility. This rule also applies with returns.\nThe CCAC handles the sales of all merchandise including collection and payment of applicable State sales tax.\nThe CCAC retains a commission of 30 % on all items\, vendors receive 70%.\n\nAcceptance notification: Applicants will be notified of their acceptance in December. Those who are not accepted into this year’s show will also be notified. Accepted applicants will receive a packet containing a contract\, special requests form\, an inventory sheet they must fill out\, and drop-off/pick-up information. \nAPPLY HERE!

DESCRIPTION:Festival of Wreaths Registration – Call for EntriesCome participate in one of Carroll County’s most Creative Holiday Traditions!\nFeaturing a live auction filled with handcrafted wreaths\, artwork\, and holiday decor where all proceeds benefit the arts in Carroll County! \nREGISTRATION INFORMATION\nDescription: A holiday wonderland of creativity and generosity\, the Festival of Wreaths features uniquely themed wreaths\, and holiday art pieces\, that range from nostalgic\, to traditional to whimsical\, wacky and wonderful! All wreaths are available for purchase through online auction. Many entries include gift cards\, specialty food and beverages items\, and unique experiences! Come Explore your creative side! \nWho Can Apply? Everyone! The Festival of Wreaths is open to individuals\, families\, clubs\, organizations\, and businesses. \nIs It Wreaths Only? No! Donations of holiday decor\, winter-themed artwork\, and other fine crafts are welcomed. Items do not need to be Christmas-themed and wreaths don’t have to be round – think outside the circle! DESCRIPTION:1st Wednesday JamsCome make some music with us!\nIn partnership with Common Ground on the Hill\, FREE monthly Community Jams bring musicians\, singers\, and listeners together on the first Wednesday of each month for an easygoing evening of shared music-making! \nExplore bluegrass & old-time\, blues\, and Celtic music in a welcoming environment for all ages\, instruments\, and skill levels. Whether you know dozens of tunes\, are just getting comfortable playing with others\, want to sing along\, or simply enjoy listening\, there’s a place for you. \nJam leaders will help everyone take part\, share tunes\, and build their repertoire. Have a song you’d like to introduce? Feel free to bring copies to share with the group. \nNo registration required. Admission is FREE; donations are always welcome. \nInclement Weather: Community Jams follow the Carroll County Public Schools closure policy. If CCPS is closed due to inclement weather\, that evening’s jam will be canceled.
