DESCRIPTION:Gallery of Gifts Registration – Call for ArtistsApply for one of Carroll County’s Best Holiday Fine Art and Gift Boutiques!\nFeaturing the handcrafted\, one-of-a-kind\, quality wares of dozens of local and regional artisans\, our Tevis Gallery transformed into a unique feast for the eyes. \nARTIST REGISTRATION INFORMATION\nDescription: Gallery of Gifts is a special cash & carry exhibit in the Tevis Gallery that resembles a boutique rather than a traditional gallery exhibit. Selected artists can display their festive wares during the Arts Center busy holiday event and shopping season. CCAC staff and volunteers handle all sales during open\, business hours and extended event hours. \nWho Can Apply? Artists who create handmade items including\, but not limited to: jewelry\, fiber\, ceramics\, glass\, small prints and paintings\, upcycled works\, books\, woodwork\, toys\, soaps and candles\, baskets\, jams\, and baked goods. No buy & resell items permitted. Applicants are juried and scored by a committee of staff\, board\, and community artists on originality\, technical proficiency\, a cohesive body of work\, and presentation/packaging. \nApplication Deadline: September 30\, 2026. \nApplication Fee: $10 \nVendor Fee if Chosen: $185 \nVendor Drop-Off/Set-Up Dates: November 17 and 18\, 2026 \nEvent Dates: November 20 – December 20\, 2026. \nVendor Pick-Up/Take-Down Dates: December 22\, 2026. \nMembers 10% Discount Days: November 21\, December 1-3\, December 20 \nConsignment Information:  \n\nThe Exhibitor is expected to deliver their work during scheduled Gallery of Gifts Drop-Off days. Shipping and transportation costs are the Exhibitor’s responsibility. This rule also applies with returns.\nThe CCAC handles the sales of all merchandise including collection and payment of applicable State sales tax.\nThe CCAC retains a commission of 30 % on all items\, vendors receive 70%.\n\nAcceptance notification: Applicants will be notified of their acceptance in early October. Those who are not accepted into this year’s show will also be notified. Accepted applicants will receive a packet containing a contract\, special requests form\, an inventory sheet they must fill out\, and drop-off/pick-up information. \nCustomizing your space: Each artist accepted is given a 4ft display area. CCAC supplies tables\, cloths\, and basic signage if requested. All wreaths are available for purchase through online auction. Many entries include gift cards\, specialty food and beverages items\, and unique experiences! Come Explore your creative side! \nWho Can Apply? Everyone! The Festival of Wreaths is open to individuals\, families\, clubs\, organizations\, and businesses. \nIs It Wreaths Only? No! DESCRIPTION:Reflecting Autumn in MosaicsHave you always wanted to learn how to upcycle your treasured found objects? Here’s your chance!\nCreate Meaningful Mirrors\, Frames and Collages with Upcycled Materials! All it takes is one unexpected find to begin a collection of materials to create a story. While exploring diverse textures\, shapes and colors\, you will learn a process of arranging a mosaic\, based on materials that appeal to you! The catalyst for the theme is derived from objects that spark a memory or begin an imaginary story. Using traditional and unconventional materials and mosaic tools\, we will create a one of a kind mosaic art experience. Materials of ceramics\, glass\, metals\, wood\, shells\, beads (my favorite) and wires will be provided to share. DESCRIPTION:Fall Landscape in PastelsHave you always wanted to learn how to create pastel landscapes? Here’s your chance!\nIn this class we will explore painting with soft pastels through the process of layering to create a fall landscape. Karen will review briefly the variety of pastels from hard to soft\, the choices in papers\, underpainting processes\, mark making\, and layering. She will demonstrate the process of creating an underpainting with watercolor and the layering of pastels to create subtle changes in color and value and invites you to paint your own fall landscape. \nNovember 7\, 2026\n10:00am – 4:00pm\nAges 18+\nStudents Age 12-17 may register with a registered adult \nMaterials students should bring with them: \n\nSoft pastels in a variety of colors (not oil pastels!)\nLight-colored pastel paper preferably white or cream. Sanded pastel paper is recommended.\nBacking board\nAn old cloth and apron\nSeveral fall landscape photos to be used as a reference.\n\nNeed supplies?
