Billy Lyve is a multifaceted hip-hop artist and front man of the multi genre band iLL LuCK. With a unique sound that infuses Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock, and EDM, iLL LuCK has recently been making some noise in the Baltimore music scene. The band consists of DJ AnchorTheBank, Nic Richards (Guitar), Supaman (drummer), Rube Rice (Keyboards). iLL LuCK’s influences include, but are not limited to Rage Against the Machine, Eminem, Linkin Park, 2Pac, and Nas.

Whether it’s something he went through or someone else’s story, Billy Lyve spreads truth through his real life-based lyricism. In the early 80s, he grew up in a family of hip hop and a culture immersed with musicians and dancers. In 2008, he was invited to make his first club appearance when a studio engineer asked him if he wanted to do a showcase at one of Baltimore’s most respected venues at the time, Sonar. By applying love and dedication to every aspect life Billy has gained a sizable number of fans nationwide. He performs mostly in his own back yard within DC, MD, VA, PA and has begun expanding his footprint to other regions such as NY, CT, WV, NJ, and more.

As a solo artist, Billy Lyve has opened for MGK, Dizzy Wright, Onyx, Redman, Ghostface Killah, Slick Rick, Rakim, Hopsin, Talib Kweli, Skyzoo, Cappadonna, Project Pat, Ill Bill, and more. He has been featured on ABC’s Channel 2 Keepin It Real TV, 98 Rock FM’s Noise in the Basement, 88.9, Power 104.7, The Artists Exchange, Real Spit Radio, Radio One with the Radio Twinz as well as StreetSmart Magazine, Name it Magazine, Trap Door Magazine, Limitlesss Works Magazine, the Carroll County Times, the Advocate of Sykesville and Westminster, the Frederick News Post, the Baltimore Examiner and more!
