Carroll Anti-stigma Resilience Effort (CARE) presents

This Is My Brave®

This Is My Brave® is a show about what it’s like to live through mental illness and substance abuse and come out on the other side. Our local storytellers will bring their experiences out of the shadows and into the spotlight through poetry, original music or personal essay in front of a live audience.

The Partnership for a Healthier Carroll County, Carroll Hospital and the Carroll County Health Department along with partners including local businesses, churches, schools, the library and the arts community are committed to ending stigma by changing the conversation about mental illness and substance abuse.

Help us reduce stigma by building a more supportive community so that those who struggle with mental illness and substance abuse, along with their families, will be more likely to seek help and ultimately achieve greater health and well-being. Experience the transformative power of live storytelling by supporting your Carroll neighbors, co-workers, friends and other brave community members.

**Due to some adult content and strong language, parental guidance is advised for children under 13.**
