October Exhibit: Cathy Gilleland and Judy Goodyear
Off Track Art’s October Duet show by Cathy Gilleland and Judy Goodyear brings together two artists whose love of color is expressed in their explorations of color interactions and how they influence us as creators and viewers of art.
A founding partner of Off Track Art, Judy Goodyear, who comes from a family of jewelers, studied jewelry with John Fix at Towson University and has a degree in Fine Arts from MICA. A self-described "bead fanatic", she has enjoyed expressing her interest in color through her beaded creations. She is a member of the Baltimore Bead Society.
Catherine Gilleland has been a traveler and photographer for most of her life, and over the past 20 years has added Photoshop to the mix. She particularly enjoys taking her photographic images and making them look like other styles of artwork. In addition to traveling, she teaches Photoshop and is a long-time board member of the Carroll County Camera Club.
