Chihuly at the New York Botanical Gardens
The New York Botanical Gardens present Dale Chihuly, world-renown glass artist, for the first time in more than 10 years. Visitors will enjoy 20 glass installations that use the landscape and architectural spaces as a canvas. Chihuly’s work includes massive, dangling chandeliers, floating orbs, starbursts, glass towers and ice crystals. Dazzling the imagination, viewers always ask, “How does he do that?” An informative talk on the bus ride to New York by Susan Williamson, Visual Arts Coordinator, will help demystify some of those questions.
